The grand opening for the Erie Canal exhibit that I’ve been curating for months is in just a few days, 9/25/25 at the Brothers of Mercy Art Gallery at Montabaur Heights. It’s looking great, and I’m so appreciative of Ed Cardoni for jurying it. My own offering, “Sal’s Canal”, is shown below. (It’s not eligible for an award because I was too involved in putting the show together.)
This painting, “Lovely, Dark, and Deep,” just won an honorable mention in the Niagara Fontier Watercolor Society Spring Exhibit. Thanks to Juror Carl Purcell.
